So, I’m starting a blog. And no, it’s not just because my advisor told me to, although he gave me the idea.
As a writer, I want my words to mean something to people. And how can they mean anything if I don’t share them? Words kept in files on my computer might as well remain unread if I never plan to show them to anyone but myself.
The purpose of this blog is to get my words out into the world, via the internet. Although my life is still fairly young, I’ve learned a few things that I would like to share. I hope my experiences can help others and spread understanding and tolerance. I want to be open about my life to provide a model for others who might feel alone like I once was.
Or maybe you might just be interested in what I have to say. You might totally disagree with my opinions but we can learn from each other.
This is not just going to be a public diary. Some of my posts will be personal. Some might just be my writing WIPs or character briefs. Maybe I’ll go into an analysis of a character I love or my favorite book. There are countless opportunities of what I could choose to write.
